Overview
What you're signing up for.
One of the most famous biodiversity hotspots — home to thousands of species of flora and fauna.
We run Valley of Flowers as a 6-day expedition from Govindghat, pacing the gain in altitude for safety and acclimatisation. Every departure is led by certified mountaineers and supported by experienced high-altitude Sherpas, with the season window set for Jul — Sep.
How the journey unfolds.
6 days · indicative shapeArrival & acclimatisation
Meet the team at Govindghat, final gear checks and the slow gain in altitude that keeps the body honest. Briefings, rest, and the first walks into the Garhwal country.
The long approach
The heart of the route — 37 km of trail through forest, meadow and moraine toward the higher camps. Pace set for safety, not speed.
High point
The reason you came. An alpine start, a push toward 4,300 m, and the long quiet hours that the mountains ask for in return.
Descent & return
Back down through the camps to Govindghat — lighter, slower, and changed. Time to rest tired legs and trade the week's photographs.
Indicative outline only — the detailed day-by-day itinerary, altitudes and contingency days are shared in the trip dossier on enquiry.
