The peak standing at an altitude of 6001m above sea level is considered to be sacred, the name Deo means God and Tibba means Mounatin hence Deo Tibba is the assembly site of Gods. Mt. Deo Tibba is a huge single-summit mountain in the Manali region of Himachal Pradesh, it is distinguished by a massive ice plateau on the summit. This climb requires a great deal of willpower, cognition and a good experience of the high altitudes of the Himalayas. The path to the summit leads through beautiful remote mountain landscapes which eventually take you through steep icy gullies & snow-laden slopes. The approach to the summit is not very difficult due to the massive snow cap on the top of the mountain. The peak gives a mesmerizing panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges of Pir Panjal range and Lahaul & Spiti regions and right next to the peak stands the staggering summit of Mt. Indrasan at an altitude of 6221m.

Arrival at Manali (2050 m)

The day is reserved for introduction to the team, briefing sessions and acclimatization. Our team will welcome you at the hotel/guest house, we would expect you to reach Manali before afternoon on this day.

Camp 1 (5151 m) to Camp 2 (5560 m)- Load Ferry

After breakfast we will head through one of the possible routes to camp 2 on the face of Mt. Deo Tibba. The ascent would be a mix of snow and moraines through the steep ridges to reach the spot decided by the team for setting up camp 2. The ascent is steep on the slope and air gets thinner as we make our way to camp 2. This camp will serve as our Summit camp. After setting up the camp on the mountain we will descend back to camp 1.

Camp 2 (5560 m) to Summit (6001 m) to Camp 1

The summit bid will around midnight using the artificial lights, The walk in night has a lot of advantages as compared to day on high altitudes, such as; the snow conditions stay firm and easy to compensate in deep snow conditions of the slope, the amount of dehydration set by high altitude solar waves is out of equation in dark. However, the wind chill factor drops a lot and that is one major disadvantage of walking in the dark. The terrain is steep and it goes through mixed sections of Ice and snow for the most part. After making it to the top in the morning we will head back to Camp 1 for the night
